There's little chance I'll get to listen due to timing, but I gotta ask, why a live Ramblecast? Can you do something different then if you record? Like, can you have callers?

Yes they can and did during the last one. There is also a chat room basiclly that everyone can comment about the show live...and sometimes you can even get Jack to crack up with your comments! The live one are fun!! Even if Jay doesn't want to do the live ones.... |

If anyone is attempting to attend the talk shoe LIVE Ramblecast, we are having some technical difficulties with the software. We're trying to get in touch with someone who can help us. It seems that all the other talkcasts are having problems too.
Stay tuned, we have till 11pm!

Wow, guys. That live RambleCast was amazing tonight. One of the best.
I've been listening for quite some time to all the podcasts, but hadn't joined the boards until just now. I was trying to call in, but TalkShoe seemed to not want me to do that. I was just curious if you guys had looked into Ustream.tv for this live podcasting. I know that's how MuggleCast did their 12 hour live show and it was all through Skype, I believe. So the audio would sound quite a bit better since cell phones won't be used and your regular mics probably would. Just a suggestion. I hope you guys get this off the ground! I'll be looking forward to the long one...even if Jay won't be.

I'm really podcast-stupid. There is no way that we can listen to it unless we listen live? Cause I definetly can not sit for 15 hours, but I can't miss a 15 hour podcast! Is talkshoe a website?

Talkshoe is a website / podcast recording program. You can listen to the first live ramble cast: www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkCast.jsp?masterId=28136&cmd=tcThe second one didnt record and it is correct where the first one picks up about 20 minutes in. The fifteen hour cast should record and you should be able to play it back after the show is over. Have the guys thought of a format yet? |
