Wow. All that stuff brought back some long-dormant memories, especially the ones about Surge, Ghostwriter, Gak, and YIKES pencils. The only ones I've never heard of are the Oregon Trail days in computer class, drawing books from the library, and some of the "when everything was settled by" rhymes. Oh, and I just made one of those fortune-teller things for a little kid a couple weeks ago. In fact, she's the one who asked me to make it without even having me explain what it is. It's so nice to know some of these things are getting passed down from generation to generation. ;D

i remember ghostwriter did they ever solve the mystery? I dunno, but they did a spin-off thing called The New Ghostwriter Mysteries for one year, which I never watched.

What a great list! I read it through so quickly, though. I don't think it mentioned the Create Your Own Ending books. I was going through some of my lil' sisters books a few weeks ago, and saw some of those. Ingenious! Yay for R.L. Stine, Lisa Frank, and those stupid Troll dolls!

You got super excited when it was Oregon Trail day in computer class at school. Chhhhaaaaaa Oregon Trail. Good times, gooood times.... Definately. In my classroom there was only one computer. Everybody would be fighting over it to play OT. That game didn't like me. I died of cholera EVERY SINGLE TIME I played
