difficult decision this week, what with a 4-way versus and my love of television. scrubs is definitely one of my favorites, but i gotta go with seinfeld on this one because i can watch the same rerun over and over again without getting tired of it.

Although Scrubs and the Office are both amazing shows, I think it should be between Seinfeld and Friends. We know how those shows end we don't know where scrubs and the office are going. Viva La Friends!!!

you know, Seinfeld is before my time, but i got the DVDs for my dad and i always watch the re-runs. it is truly a classic and there is never an episode that isnt funny. of course, all 4 of these are terrific comedies but i would have to say that Seinfeld is classic (yes, jay, even if it did end only 10 yrs ago ) *tying vote at 27 ;D *

Never seen neither The Office nor Seinfield so I pick Scrubs! Really funny show, I like the idea of an ER parody.

Friends - a good, solid sitcom that may have ran out of steam about two seasons before it actually ended.
Seinfeld - almost unfair, as it has already been placed in the "classic" sitcom pantheon only a select few shows have attained. However, does lose a point or two for an exceptionally weak series finale.
The Office - a show that has (for the most part) steadily gotten better as the characters have been further developed. However, it is debatable how much it has gotten out from under the shadow of the original UK version with Ricky Gervais. If folks who have ONLY seen the US version think they've seen wince inducing awkward moments on THAT show (or even Curb Your Enthusiasm for that matter), they need to see the Ricky Gervias show "The Office" that puts them BOTH to shame in that category. Plus, as much as I do appreciate Steve Carell's Michael Scott, Gervais' David Brent is a much more richly developed and thus BELIEVABLE character (and with far less existing episodes to have accomplished that in, I might add).
Scrubs - A few weak episodes besides, this is just one of those shows that clicks on all cylinders, from the zany to the risque to the cerebral...and SO many outstanding supporting performers (Perry, Dr. Kelso, the Janitor, the Todd, Ted)...it's only a shame more people haven't found this show (thanks to the scheduling noodleheads at NBC).
So..my pick goes to the UNDERDOG in this quartet...SCRUBS
(And as far as true funniest sitcoms of all time, you couldn't do such a list without nominating shows like THE ODD COUPLE, TAXI, THE BOB NEWHART SHOW & NEWHART as well, not to mention several other classics as well...but The ODd Couple is just the best of them all...SO many quotable lines, scenes and moments that make one guffaw with delight more than 30 years later...and then there's The Honeymooners, Everybody Loves Raymond, Arrested Development, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, All in the Family...one could go on and on and on...)
