Hi everyone. I guess I'm not new here - I have more than a few posts and I've called in to the podcast. Even won an Apollo Bar!! BTW, what does one do with it? You can't EAT IT; it's a LOST icon, after all. Take out the chocolate and mount it in a frame? Maybe one with a really racy pic of Evie? Hmmmmm; gotta think this through.
Anyway, who am I? I'm a 54-year-old father of three. The whole family is LOST-crazy!! If you watch regularly, how can you NOT be? I got into J&J by doing a google-search, and really enjoy the podcast. I think Jack and I have a lot in common. We've both lived and raised kids in Santee (suburb of San Diego, CA), both are long-suffering Chargers fans(GO BOLTS!), and both moved out to greener (cheaper?) pastures.
We live in Fresno, CA now, and I commute to work in Oakland, CA, where I'm based as an airline pilot. I fly to Honolulu regularly, so I've been to a few of the filming sites. At the moment, I'm shacked up in the Ala Moana Hotel, just down the street from the Convention Center, aka Sydney Airport. I've never seen any of the cast here in HNL, but I did run into Michelle Rodriguez early last year at "Maui Tacos" in Kihei, south of Lahaina. I was pretty flabbergasted, so I'm just glad I didn't make a total fool of myself ("Hey there, Ana Lucia - you look just LIKE yourself!"
).
I love the community we have here - let's be good to each other and enjoy the ride!!
