I thought I'd start a thread for Halo 3 now that it's out. If anyone wants to add me. my gamertag is ThePBKid. I won't be playing too much during the week, but more on the weekend. I was looking at the voice acting credits and a few names jumped out at me. Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, and Adam Baldwin all from Firefly are in it. As well as Katee Sackoff, Ron Perlman and John DiMaggio (Bender from Futurama and Marcus Fenix from Gears of War) |

Thats really cool. Thanks for the info!
So far my only gripe with Halo 3 is that the visuals are not on par with other 360 games, which is kinda disappointing. (No I'm not saying the game looks bad, just not as good as others, like Gears of War and BioShock). Oh and the fact that part of the ending was spoiled for me, a pretty important part. Oh well, its not like it makes the journey to the end any less fun.
If anyone sees me on, I want to play some co-op!

I'd like to play some co-op or do anything on live for that matter. Live has been acting very weird for me today, so my guess is the Halo effect. Earlier today (about 6 pm central) I couldn't get the marketplace tab to load at all, so I played some of the campain for a little while. And now (9 pm central) I can't go to any of the tabs on the marketplace tab or even go to play the COD 4 beta. Well, I'll try tomorrow.

As for the graphics.. I think each game just has their own feel. Gears of War was so gritty, and Halo 3 is just so well polished, with a shiny sheen. Heck, even the dirt is shiny. Each game has their own look, and I love Halo 3's.

I'm way behind in the times lol. I've had a xbox360 for over a year now and I just now started getting games for it. Last week I bought used copies of Halo and Halo 2 and I need to play those before I start playing the Halo 3 that came to my house yesterday. I'm just too busy with tv shows and Team Fortress 2 right now to play the halo series  |

Hey guys! You really should check out the Theater feature, it's amazing. You can save whole films, clips, and screencaps from your Halo games, and you can upload it to your computer via Bungie.net. If you've got a cool one, why not post it here? I have 2 myself ~ That's me in the gray and blue, dodging the rocket.  This isn't actually me, it's some random opponent. I got the lighting to look like this by taking the shot inside a plasma grenade explosion. Its my personal favorite.  |

It makes me want to make some kinda short film with like action music in the background. XD And it's really an improvement because instead of having to describe that awesome part of the game, you can show it to people. Like, what would have been "You should have seen the guy get lasered in the face" is now "LOOK! The guy got lasered in the face!"  I love it. Jack keeps hogging it but eventually I'll play the campaign. Online is just too fun! |

I finished the campaign yesterday and bought my Gold membership tonight to play Halo. I'm new to the series but I've been doing ok.
Anyone up for a match or some co-op??
Also, how do I customize my character?

Also, how do I customize my character? I missed this one at first too. When you're at the main menu, hit start to go to the settings menu. You'll see options for file share, marketplace etc. Hit right to go to the settings (you'll see at the top that there is a tab for file share and one for settings). Here is where you can change your apperance. |

Has anyone used Forge yet? Cause I've already used it to make 2 maps - one on Valhalla, which is FILLED with vehicles and anti-vehicle weapons (which is so much fun when you have 8+ people) and another on Guardian with only rocket launchers, gravity hammers, and one spartan laser in the middle - surrounded by fusion cores ;D And more screencaps ~ Blaw is driving the Mongoose ;D  MAN CANNON!  |
