how does the code thing work?.... my Wii is online.... but I can't figure out how to find my code, or input someone elses?

From the main menu with all the Channels shown, you just click on the bottom right button, the one of the envelope, then click the button with the paper and pen on it, (Create Message button). It will take you to three other options, but click the one on the far right, the Address Book. If you online is up and working, your console code will show up on the bottom.

So I have never recieved a "friend request", how does it work? Do you just get mail saying so and so wants to be your friend?

Friend request? If you type in the code of someone else, and they add yours to their Wii Friend's List as well, than you two can exchange memos to each other, Mii's, and exchange map designs in games like Elebits through the Wii24Connect. I thought you knew that though...

I didn't know what happens when someone puts in your code, like if you got mail saying they did. So do you not know that they add yours? Kinda stupid if so.

You don't really get any confimation if someone added you and you added them, until they send you something like a Mii. It's lame I know, waiting and all, but I got over that a long time ago. I doesn't even mean a big deal to me anyways since their aren't any online games for Wii until late June.

Yea I don't like how when I register someone and they dont see it. So yea, I registered everyone that has posted here, so if you want to register me, 1962-1221-3406-4727.
Yea I'm so looking forward to online games, especially Pokemon, rolls eyes. Any other games confirmed to have online? If Super Smash Brothers doesn't, bad idea Nintendo.

Oh yeah, I'm definately awaiting Pokemon. ;D Pearl too. Don't ask. It's a LONG story.
Brawl has been confirmed to have online play but it won't be out until probably after June 25th when PBR is out. I know Nintendo knows that tons of people are waiting for Brawl to go online, except they are so stingy with the details of online play. Hopefully we'll get some kind of news on a release date at the new E3 or at some conference they have later this year.

Nintendo needs to get more organized in making a more uniformed online. Maybe there could be like a friends channel? Oh well, as long as I can own you all in Brawl, its all good.

Nintendo needs A LOT of improvement on its online front, period.l From what I hear, their getting a new Mii Channel from Miyamoto and rumors about a Demo Channel - that would be cool. What do you mean a Friends Channel? There was another rumor about one for chatting too.
And please, enough of the trash talking. Like I haven't heard enough of that on the forums I go to...geez. I'm still playing Melee to prepare.
