Tonite is the fourth annual Halo Lan party that I throw once a year. It is a time to put away the angst and stress that is life, and kill your friends in the moist brutal way ever.
So I decided to start a thread so people could recall their greatest and or funniest moments of gaming.

my friend sometimes has like 2 or 3 counterstrike lan parties a year. one of the guys threw his computer and some guy for killing him like 7 times in a row.
when i was younger and when goldeneye came out, i was at a friends house playing and one of the kids we were playing against threw his n64 controller at the guys tv since he sucked at the game.

Gotta be when Sephiroth kills Aeiris at the end of disc 1 in FF7. Shocking, edgy, and a great scene

My vote goes for FFX when you realize the truth about Sin and the Final Summoning But the first FF game I ever played, IX, had a moment too...when Zidane had given up all hope and cast everyone aside...that was really sad Ok, I guess both of those were sad, so I'll finish up on a happy note: Achieving the best speed run (at the time) for Radical Highway on SA2. It lasted all of 12 minutes, because suddenly a new video popped up with a better route, but it was still awesome

I haven't yet had a chance to say my fondest moment in gaming, and for me, it isn't just a cut scene, but a whole stage...
When I first played the New Monbossa Stage in HALO 2, it stunned me how great this game was, starting from the pelican crash in the court yard, all the way to the final battle on the giant scarab. That level was one of level in gaming history. and even the little things counted, everything from the chatter and small talk of the soilders, to the destructible buildings.
But the best part of the level for me is when you finally reach the resistance, after fighting the two wraiths on the highway, and as soon as you get the scorpion tank, the scarab turns the corner, and with its massive laser, it destroys everything in its path, including the tank. Then you know that you, that that final battle with the scarab was gonna be a hard one....

Funny moments? Play Halo, find a grunt or an elite, stick 'em with a plasma grenade, listen to the screams and watch em fly. I die laughing everytime I get one. ;D
