Well, yesterday I went out to get the demo disk in OPM's November Issue. It was very much worth the money I spent on it ;D 4 songs on the disk: "Shout at the Devil" "You Really Got Me" "Strutter" "YYZ" All of these are playable on any difficulty, but I only played on expert Out of these songs, I like all but "Shout at the Devil" (too easy) I had been anticipating YYZ for quite some time, and was very pleased with the way it worked out 3 note chords threw me a loop the first time I saw them, but it only took a moment to get the hang of it 2-Player is also avaliable on the demo disk if you have 2 SG controllers

Guess what? A bunch of bonus songs have just been confirmed (I'll post the list soon, too tired tonight)... Anyways, one of the confirmed songs was TROGDOR!!!!I cannot believe this...so awesome ;D If you don't watch Homestar Runner, you probably won't know Trogdor...the link below is his appearance: www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail58.htmlThe song most likely is not the version that plays in that email, but the one on the Strongbad album (with the "dueling guitar solos!")

I can't clarify this just yet with a cited source, but this is good news! If its true that is.
Red Octane announced today they will be releasing a wireless controller for Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero 2. "RedOctane has long been committed to offering high-quality videogame accessories for gamers,” said Dusty Welch, head of publishing at RedOctane. “Being able to give our fans an option to rock the wireless guitar controller was definitely a priority for us, and it’ll provide another exciting experience for players to achieve rock star status!”
The device will ship in November, and will retail for $59.99

I read that on gamespot. The 360 better have a wireless guitar. I don't see why not.

IT FINALLY CAME!!! I haven't had much time to play, but I completed one expert song so I could unlock a few bonus songs I wanted to see Arterial Black - this one did not let me down. They made it exactly the way I imagined. The opening riff is so fun and the solo is amazing for using HO/POs ;D Trogdor - surprisingly hard for what looked like a simple song. And yet really fun Thunderhorse - much harder when you actually are playing (I can't seem to nail the "horse gallop" rhythm ) This game is just so awesome and so much better than the first

I just used practice mode to improve on the solo in Arterial Black
I used to barely get by...now I can at least keep the meter in the yellow ;D

Well after about a month now, I've managed to 5-star every song except for:
Psychobilly Freakout Misirlou Gemini Six
And I can't even beat Jordan, so that is going to take a long time...
