If your like me and stuck at home while all the cool kids are off in San Diego then this thread is for you. We don't begrudge anyone at Comic Con a good time. We wish them all a safe and fun trip. But while they're gone we'll party without them. Bring all your Comic Con news, Lost-related or not, here where we can all enjoy.

If this is a party, what have we got for food while we wait for some news...or a podcast.

What would you have asked Damon and Carton if you had the chance?

If any of you have an Xbox 360, there will be the "Bringing it Home" on the Live marketplace. My guess it will be more or less interviews from the convention floor, but I hope there will be highights of some of the panels. The content may also be available on xbox.com
Anyway, I wish I was going too. I can't wait to get all the content for all the podcasters in the next few days.

With the help of so many people who are reporting from Comic Con, I don't feel like I'm missing out too much.
I still wish I could be in San Diego though!

I agree, I wish I could be in San Diego too, just to see all the cool stuff. But we have SO many people reporting from Comic Con for us that it should be good.
Anything that I would consider asking Damon and Carlton would not get answered, (Whos in the coffin, who is kate going home to...) I think I would just sit and listen.
Any word of any actors going to be there? I bet everyone is having fun there right now.
Oh and Exalt Casper for her new Tagline and avatar!

First news. Monstrous. “Do you think we’d call it ‘Monstrous’?” J.J. Abrams teased the Comic-Con crowd Thursday. “No.” Abrams wouldn’t cough up the real title of his mysterious January flick, but he did give his own explanation of the movie, remembering a recent trip to Japan. “We need our own Godzilla.” Constantly referring to the project as “This movie”, Abrams showed the now-famous teaser, promised that a title would be forthcoming, and unveiled a new poster with a headless Statue of Liberty to the Con masses. moviesblog.mtv.com/2007/07/26/comic-con-jj-abrams-speaks-we-need-our-own-godzilla/

Well said, Steph. +229 I got what I wanted out of CC (so far): a trailer for the planned Lost game. But I wanna hear more about what the Lost panel said...and the game is not coming to Wii, 360/PS3/PC only. www.gamevideos.com/video/id/13490I heard Lindelof plays games and had a hand in its development so I'm a bit optimistic about it...but it could use way more polishing.

What would you have asked Damon and Carton if you had the chance? Great Idea Here goes - and as usual with me - it's off the wall. Hi Carlton and Damon - I just flew in from Philadelphia and boy are my arms tired (rim shot provided by Jay's portable drum machine - not programmed in of course )
But seriously - I had a strange thought one night while listening to the theme music from Hawaii 5-0 and wondered if your inspiration for the character named "Jack Shepherd" was actor Jack Lord who starred in that earlier show filmed in Hawaii.
(general mumbling from Damon and Carlton - one snippet heard - ". . . . how could he fugure that out?"
I mean you seemed to be inspired by the "23rd Psalm" - which has the opening "The LORD is my SHEPHERD" - and both your character and the actor are named Jack - it just makes sense to me.
(startled gasps fom the crowd in attendence - more mumbling from the stage)
Damon: Thanks everyone for coming - we'll see you in February.OK - it was more of a fantasy than an actual question - maybe I'll ask it next year LOL ;D

Hi all,
Started a thread in the Lost Comments area, and just found this one, so I'll post any news I find here instead.
So, the two new cool things I just found:
#1 - the new indiana jones movie being produced? Turns out Spielberg and Ford themselves were shown live from the set and they announce a big surprise! Karen Allen - aka Marion from the original Indiana Jones Film will be returning in #4. Very cool!!!
#2 - Zachary Quinto from Heroes (Syler) - is going to be the young spock in the new JJ Abram's Star Trek Flick. Also - Linard Nemoy will be also taking the role again as well. Quote from Nemoy: "People have been asking me why I'm doing this movie, and I think the answer is obvious, we have a great director, a wonderful script, and a wonderful young actor playing Spock, so ... it was logical."
