People please do not confuse emo with other types of people such as Hardcore, hXc (Hardcore Christian) witch I am labeled as, or even others such as punk and goth. Just because you have tight jeans which many of my friends have or kid size t-shirts also friends does not mean you are emo.

I have many indie/punk/emo/hXc(aka me) friends and they can all be similar but different too. We like to joke that the difference between emo and everyone else is that the emos comb there hair over their eyes, cry,, and write songs about it and its kinda true. i have 2 friends that come to mind that dress almost exactly the same, have black hair and nail polish, but you can tell the emo on apart cause she is quiet and usually is listening to music and the other one likes to be happy and frolic and whatnot. oh, and plenty of preps cut too, its not just an emo thing. it's a sick sick thing to do. I don't care if you think that someone just does it for attention or anything like that. even if they are, what's wrong that they would go that far for attention? claire defiantly stuck me as a punk. i think alex is kinda indie/preppy but than again she lives on and island and it might be quite a drive to the local hot topic  |
