What do you do for Xmas?

On Christmas Eve we play board games and have snack dinner, (all the junkie foods you can think of, especially spray cheese and crackers and chili con queso with tortilla chips) Ususally Scattagories and Trivial Pursuit, oh, with the christmas specials on in the background, like the grinch, or Frosty, etc. Then we have Ben & Jerry:s ice cream and open one present. Usually something we can wear the next morning, like new PJs, slippers or a robe.

On christmas morning we open our stocking and presents and have Cinnimon Rolls for breakfast. Then after playing with our presents, we go to an afternoon movie and then go to a Buffet restuarant.

Well, early in the month, I decorate my condo and my boss' house. This year I had to decorate three trees since my boss has two. I do decorate more than just trees though. The banisters, the mantle, the den, the entry way, the front yard...lots of lights and decorations. ;D

After about a week of decorating, it is just some shopping until the 24th. On the evening of the 24th, my mom and I watch movies, drink asti spumante and open presents after midnight. I usually am up till around 2am. I sleep in then when I wake up, I make whatever food we have decided on for our Christmas meal. Sometimes its a baked ham and real homemade southern macaroni and cheese, sometimes a breakfast casserole, or sometimes something else and more asti spumante. ;D We watch more movies or sleep or I may get on my computer. Throughout the day we call or receive calls from family members and friends. It's a very pleasant couple of days.
