they're moving him from intensive care to a regular room today  and my dad called today saying we're probably going to spend Christmas up in Connecticut with him. |

My uncle passed away about 30 minutes ago. He was doing fine until a few weeks ago when he got some sores on his feet that got infected. They took him off some medication and put him on some other stuff that messed him up pretty bad. A few days ago they took him off all his medication and just used morphine on him. He only opened his eyes once the past 2 days and tried to talk but couldn't. My cousin put him on DNR and tonight was just a rough night for him and he didn't make it.
Sorry for the downer, just letting everyone know who replied in this thread.
