keep in mind, I'm not an artist.....and this took me FOREVER and was for a project, I normally just have doodles in my notes... Slash (guitar player of my favorite band, Guns N' Roses) nice. Thanks

these are some ten minute sketches i did for some other forum maybe a month ago... i don't claim to be an artist by any means, i just used pencil, pen and some colored pencils... i wasn't really happy with how this turned out i think the nose is too pointy and there's not enough forehead height ...but as i said, i'm no artist

jay was easy. jack was the hard one. i finally simplified his eyes, and that seemed to work. jay's hair was the hardest part on him. i tried to go for just the swoop, but it didn't look right. i added the little bit of hair in front of his face, and it looked fine.

Haha, this thread goes in and out of activity... Well, I just finished up my drawing and painting class. I guess I'll post some crap, not that anyone cares. ;D In teh chronological order: Charcoal... thingie Practicing still life... The first one looks like the loch ness monster or summat, but it was actually a deer. You totally can't tell, from the back. Final still life in sumi ink... not one of my favorites, there was a whole big scene but I didn't have time to get everything down. Psychological self-portrait, which was more like a collage on my part. Dude left this project too open-ended. Monochromatic caricature... Please be able to tell who it is, I'll love you forever. And finally, clay bust of Young Link. It was the first time I've sculpted anything since like second grade, cut me some slack. No, of COURSE that's not product placement with the Neon Bible album in the background! Geez! (Neon Bible by Arcade Fire, in stores now.)
