order of podcasts in my iPod

I am frustrated and hoping someone can help me.

I have created a playlist of the J&J podcasts. I have renamed them to make sure they appear in order of least to most recent, which they do when my iPod is connected to my pc. When I disconnect my iPod, they are ordered as they were before, in the 'natural' order they appear in the podcast library.

To play them in ascending order I have to keep fiddling with it, which is annoying. Apparently, this is a common issue with podcasts according to the iPod message board I visited, but I am wondering if anyone knows anything to do with anything to avoid it. This happens with other podcasts I listen to as well.

I dont know why that would matter much, but that happens on my iPod too. Try clicking the name bar on the top of the list and have the arrow on the side point up. (Only if your using iTunes of course). If that doesnt work, well, I think it should so just give it a try and then fiddle around with it more. That usually helps for me.
