 Scifi time again ,and this is only the beginning of my personal TV summer hiatus End. -SG-1 and Atlantis this friday (looking forward to me beloved Claudia Black ) -Prison Break in August (Will T-Bag survive ? ) -BSG in October  I´m currently substituting with the 4400, which I ´ve been watching on 2 days from 0 to the current episode. So, while the world (middle east in particular) is falling apart, I´m happily looking forward to squared eyes. Happy summer to y´all nevertheless oLO

hey infi,+ the 4400 is a real cool mixture While feeling a lil like CIS at first (NTAC agents) lots of the series feels like a modern version of Orwells 1984. The 4400 experience a kind of witchhunt once their abilities turn up. And speaking of these abilities, they are presented in a rahter mild way and unlike superheros a la marvel, although they certainly rival some of them. The cast is refeshingly new, although some of the typical faces show up (wonder when DeLancie will show up  Each episode works on its own, while the longer arcs are incredibly secretive (like Lost, there is a diary online with hints regarding the plot). The Pilot is better than the modern WoW movie, so get the pilot and perhaps 3 more episodes and decide One thing I like is ,that the obvious plotmistakes (like in horrormovies all victims run upstairs) dont happen. If something is obvious ,the plot doesnt hesitate to come to a solution (like someone who has to be stopped is not getting any "miracle/sypathy bonus" but is shut off. Terrific acting by Jeffrey Combs whom I´ve been missing dearly since Star Trek left the ether. Laura Allen is a Rocher to the Eye btw. Enjoy! oLO |

Yeah - Fox is weird like that - they don't stick ti the "typical" Americna TV Season - theyb kind of have "seasons" - like how they start their "2nd season" with "24" and run straight through.
Also - I bought the 1st two seasons of "The 4400" - I got a pretty good deal from Amazon - and I like it a lot. To a certain extent I thougt the early episodes had kind of an "X-files" feel - and it turns out some of the behind the scenes tech types worked on both shows - and I swear that one scene - in a diner - is in the same diner they used for an episode of the "X-files.
That was at the beginning - after that the show grew more into its own.

It is on USA, and maybe i will watch Eureka. thanks for that Zoso. I'll watch Eureka because it looks like one of them crazy off the wall productions. Sci fi can make good ones. Anyone seen the sci fi version of Dune? |

Frank Herbert's book. It was a very well done production, but then they came out with Children of Dune and that kinda killed it... |
