Well we get a shorter summer but we get like 4 weeks for christmas and 2 for spring break. so it all works out.

I've got three weeks still... ...could some one please explain to me how your schools work over there because I know its different from ours we have 12 grades - in california, we have 5 in elementary (plus kindergarten), 3 in middle school, and 4 in high school. the school year here begins about halfway through august, and ends partway through june. uh we take classes - there are regular classes and then there are Honors classes for 9th and 10th grade, and after that there are AP (Advanced Placement) classes. Uh that's the main stuff. |

Wow its quite a bit different from ours, we have primary school years 1 untill 6, so your 10-11 when you leave there and then you come up to high school untill year 11 when you are aloud to leave either for collage or university or stay on for sixth-form at school. When I go back I will be in year 11!

Hey, I haven't been here for awhile. Mid-August though mid-June? That is a loooong school year! My school system went September though early June (usually let out June 8th or so). K-6 elementary, 7-9 junior high, and 10-12 high school. Now that I'm in college I get an even shorter school year though!  I started in September, and I should graduate this May. Granted, I still wind up having to take summer classes, but that's only because I'm a slacker and don't take enough during the school year. Also, my major has too many requirements. |
