this is a cute idea...until someone goes too far and sends something creepy..or they start to get stalker mail...and someone always goes too far..and ruins a good thing. My suggestion...send them E-cards...and if they approve *which I'm curious if you asked them about this..and what they think of this idea* you can purchase gift cards to be used online....again...there are too many weird-o's out there that would take this "personal connection" too far..........just my opinion
