man this is my section of the misc.! anyways who watches veronica mars? by the way what is the show veronica mars about? i have never watched it but i saw a lot of veronica mars stuff at the comic con so i was just wondering!

I love Veronica Mars! My friend got me hooked right after the first season aired, so I spent all summer catching up. It's an awesome show. In fact, the question at the Lost panel about having blonde high school detectives was a reference to Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell).
If you get the chance to rent the first season dvd, check it out. I highly recommend it starting at the beginning, THEN start watching season 2. Season three starts this fall on the new CW.

Oh yeah, i was reading LOST magazine, and they said that in one of the episodes, someone was readong a book, and it say's,"True love stories don't have endings, 4 8 15 16 23 42."

What is it about? I have heard of it. It's about a girl, who through helping out her father at his detective agency, has learned a lot about the business and ends up solving cases for herself and others. The first season was all about finding out who murdered her best friend. (Awesome season mystery.) It's kind of like Buffy, but with no supernatural stuff and Veronica's character is smarter than Buffy's character. (Not dissing Buffy, Veronica is at the top of her class in both seasons.) She has her own, for lack of a better term, "Scooby Gang", who assist her on her cases. This season they are in college picking up with the season 2 ending cliffhanger. |

Mars is her last name. The cliffhanger: Veronica's dad bought plane tickets for the two of them to go to New York (they live in Neptune, CA) for her graduation present. They were to meet at the airport, but Charisma Carpenter's character came to Keith Mars' (Veronica's dad) detective agency saying she needed his help. He told her she'd have to wait until he got back. She said it couldn't wait that long and opens a briefcase. Keith looks inside and seems surprised. The next shot is Veronica waiting at the airport as their flight is boarding. She checks her phone, but has no signal. Her Dad did not show, which is so not Keith. So, what is so important in the briefcase to keep him from joining Veronica? The cool thing is that it could be anything from the past two seasons that ties in somehow.
