randome tid bit- there was this guy from south africa staying at my house once and we offered him some coffey cake but he replied "no thank you, it gives me migranes". three days later we realized that it was caffeen that gave him headaches and convinced him that there wasn't any coffee in the coffee cake and it was just called that becasue people ate it with coffee. he than grew to love this new f crazy treat.

Its called coffee cake because you eat it with a strong caffinated beverage such as coffee or tea. They go together like spehetti and meatball!
