Just made this thread to see peoples favorite vacation spots like places you have been or went to in the past or present. And while doing so maybe u can help out someone that might be going there to a sweet place in that area. One of my favorite vacation spots is Cork in Ireland on my Grandfather's farm he puts me to work ya but i love the hills and knowing no one's around for a couple of miles it just puts me at peace

I told HJS I wouldn't bring it up again..but he brought it on himself. I like going on cruises in the Gulf. Places down there I've been to...St. Maartin, St. Thomas, San Juan, and Nassau. Next year I'm going to..Cozemul(Mexico), Grand Cayman, Jamaica, and Haiti. Sorry

Man, you guys are going all over everywhere. I love when we just drive up to Oxnard. No tourist-y running around and stuff, you just sleep in and go to the beach, which is right across the street.

I once spent a day in Rome and saw the Pope. Eight years later I spent a day in Florence and got a kiss by a stranger.

I have been to San Francisco - Dallas - Orlando - Corpus Christi - Houston - San Antonio - Boston - Virginia Beach - the Pocono Mountains - New York City and I have maybe spent more time in Chicago - duting layovers where I never actually saw the city at all - longer than "Adam's Ribs" has been alive - but my absolute favorite place to vacation is an island
An island located off of the New Jersey mainland where there were a number of shipwrecks and my aunt owns a house
Brigantine, New Jersey - where the "Town Bird" is the greenhead fly - where the lights from the Atlantic City Casinos are just minutes away - and where the streets still roll up at 9:00pm and most nights there's no need for an air conditioner.

Australia is awesome - many great things to see there - Sydney is an incredible city. The wildlife and such is also very amazing. Tioman Island off of Malaysia is also incredible - wonderful for snorkeling. And finally, the best snorkeling I've done anywhere is on the outer reef of Hanauma Bay in Oahu. I've snorkeled a number of places in the Caribbean, off the great reef in Australia, Catalina island, all over Hawaii, and in Malaysia, and still my best time I ever had for snorkeling was here. It is a great place for novices and advanced, because the bay has a huge horse shoe shaped reef in it and inside the horse shoe is very protected and easy for beginners, while the outer area of the reef is full of wonderful channels 10-30 feet deep with some of the biggest fish you will see. Incredible.
