That's nice. I used to love Canadian weather, but in recent years I've been thinking about relocating somewhere warm.
I've been a teacher for several years. I work in a hospital setting with kids who are in long term care - burns, drug addiction, eating disorders, psychiatric disorders - any kids who are working at completing their secondary education. Anyone who is familiar with NIH in Maryland knows the kind of environment I'm talking about.

I have my degree in Elementary education, but its a really competetive field in western PA. I did some substitute teaching for a while, but that was no fun. They always called me in to teach 7th and 8th grade and the students were horrible, I couldn't handle it at all. My teaching certificate expired last year and to renew it I would have to go back to school, but I pretty much don't have a desire to teach anymore.
Now I work for a mortgage company processing insurance, which is 10 times more boring than it sounds. But they pay pretty well and there's no stress involved, so its okay for now.

I wouldn't mind snow, but I can do with out the 8 degrees. at least it never gets that cold!
But seriously! it's been raining for like at least 20 days straight! maybe it stop for one day, but I think it was still raining in the night.
Good ol' Rainy Oregon, where the trees are green and the ground is mushy.

The weather is awful here today, I don't want to be here at work. The sky just got so dark, like it's evening out! It's only 1:00 PM!

Migraine weather.
Hey, Matt, you work at a place like the NIH? Do you do any research?
Ginger, my mom taught 8th grade American History for 35 years. My sister teaches middle school, too. They both LOVE that age group!
