I just have to put in a plug for the KC Chiefs! ;DGo Chiefs! We suffered an agonizing loss to Dallas last weekend. Missed field goal in the last few seconds. Ugh! Harkens back to Ace Ventura Pet Detective. What did he say? "Laces up! Laces up!"

This weekend both your Chiefs and my Chargers have to win. Good luck.

Sorry, evilgus. Hey, but we do have a pretty good football (soccer) team here in Kansas City, The Wizards. They've been national champions a few years. We've played some international teams before and won, but I suppose they're not the same caliber as your football teams there.
Jack, I see that the Cheifs meet the Chargers here at Arrowhead next Saturday. We need to dispose of the NY Giants today for sure. It's like tooth and nail to try to hang on to a playoff bid.
Speaking of sports, Jay and Jack, you live in the land of college basketball. Do you ever get to any of the Duke or UNC games? My daughter is a Blue Devils fan for some reason. Here at Kansas University we are apparantly "teambuilding" this year.

My uncle is works a Duke and is always going to those games. He's a pretty avid fan. I don't really follow all that myself. Just baseball and football.

Hey, Jack. The Chiefs stunk up the place yesterday. Good luck to your Chargers today. NOT! Major League Baseball has been humiliating for us here in KC the last couple of years. I think the Royals set a record for most games lost in a season last summer. There came a point where I wanted them to lose as many games as possible. Hey, if you're gonna lose, LOSE. Go for and exceed a new record.

We've played some international teams before and won, but I suppose they're not the same caliber as your football teams there. I've heard of them. They lost out to the CostaRican team apparently. Otherwise they would have made it into the Earth Cup. Or world club cup whatever. You can be proud of the Kansas side, because worldwide, they are seen to be the pinnacle of American soccer at the moment. And we all know how good you guys can be at the World Cup.

Thanks, man. Unfortunately the people here don't really appreciate the Wizards. They might leave Kansas City in a couple years for better crowds.
