Hi, all...
I'm new to LOST and I'm hooked. I've never been someone into sci fi or mysteries or any other genre that you could assign to what LOST represents.
I'm wondering if any of you LOST fans could recommend books in the same type of genre as LOST? (Not about LOST. Just books that would appeal to LOST fans.
Thanks! Aunt Sassy

The Third Policeman or anything by Stephen King probably. The writers are influenced by a lot of literature so if you read that you should like it. Here's a list of all the books which have appeared in Lost... lostpedia.com/wiki/Literary_worksWelcome to the boards! By the way, if you want to italicize something you can use the square brackets (instead of the ones that look like sideways V's... )

Yeah. It's by Gary Troup. (Sorry if I misspelled it.) I've never read the book, and can't find it in bookstores now.

Aunt Sassy, I don't read a ton of Lost-type books, but I do have a suggestion. Maybe try and read some of the books that are mentioned or shown on the show. I've enjoyed a lot of the literary references because I've read so many of the books. A good place to start (list-wise) would be here: www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Literary_works. I haven't been able to find the most recent Sawyer book, The Invention of Morel by Adolfo Bioy Casares. Think my favorite on the list is Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad.
