Hmmmm. State of Fear. I didn't care for that one. I thought his latest book was Next though. Now that's an awesome book. Next was awesome! I really hated all the characters though.

Sometimes weird looking books are the best one. I found one called Who Gave the Pinta to the Santa Maria by Robert Desowitz in a discount pile a couple of years ago. I've since read every book he's ever written.
I'm about to start Great Feuds in History.

For those who have read Next, the state of Maryland wants to collect the DNA of every person who is arrested, not just convicted of violent crimes. Crazy how fiction turns into reality.
BTW, the show on Discovery Channel where there are scientists trying to engineer dinosaurs sort of like Jurassic Park is called Dinosaurs: Return to Life? and airs Sunday at 9pm Eastern.

Currently reading a collecting of Asimov's short stories, The World is Room Enough. Pretty good so far, though a bit heavy on the anti atomic themes.
So NEXT is a good read?

I am about to start re-reading the Dune series by Frank Herbert. It is not my favorite book, but it is very close.

Snap, I liked Next, but I am also a scientist who works with genetic information, so the whole idea of the book intrigued me.
I have a book reserved at the library to pick up today called What Shamu taught me about life, love, and marriage : lessons for people from animals and their trainers by Amy Sutherland

The Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals... LOL, I'm trying to get certification as an Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician. I'm taking my test on Friday, so that is what I have been reading.

I'm reading Stephen King's IT right now, since I can't get my paws on Duma Key yet. It sux that I don't have the money's to get it I read that book when I was a young teen and I have been utterly afraid of clowns ever since. The TV miniseries, however cheaply produced, was still effective in solidifying the image of Pennywise in my mind... *chills* The Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals... LOL, I'm trying to get certification as an Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician. I'm taking my test on Friday, so that is what I have been reading. Anything about bunnies in there? About not letting duplicates get too close together? ;D
