i really hope they dont hold off on the release date cause i have been looking forward to seeing this film since it was announced and i am really excited to see Heath play the Joker and Christian continue to play Batman...if anything, to me its more important that they keep the release date the same because this is his last movie role...and i think he will be remembered for many roles but also for this one as the Joker because it is his last one and also because I think he is going to do a Fabulous job portraying the Joker

I really doubt that there will be any delay to the release of The Dark Knight. The shooting has been wrapped up for a while and the movie isn't going to be out for about 5 months. Had it happened a few weeks before the release, they may have pushed it back.
I feel bad for saying it, but it's all about the money. The studio invested somewhere in the range of $100-200 million into the picture, and they are going to want to make that bad.

Hopefully Nolan will have a little dedication at the end of the film for Heath Ledger.
He was a great actor, and I was shocked beyond words when I heard he had died. Whether he had overdosed or not, I will still miss him, and I hope he finds peace now.

It's just so sad. I mean I'll still see the movie no matter when they release it and I know I'll love and cherish it because it was Heath's last role, but at the same time, it'll overshadow it for me. Ya know? I'm still really upset about it.

Did any one hear that Wizard ( a comic book like mag) is selling their latest issue on ebay with Ledger on the cover as the joker.

ya there's a shirt i saw at HT that was just health ledgers face as the joker and it looked amazing and i think i may get it for my birthday next month  |

thats really cool....yeah he looks amazing as the joker both in physical appearance and getting the essence of the character....or at least thats the way it looks from the trailers and pictures i have seen...i really cant wait to see this movie
Littlelostie18, I understand what your saying how it could overshadow the movie, but i think he is going to be so radically different just because that is how the joker is that the whole time I will be so into the movie that i will not be dwelling what happened. possibly after the movie I will be thinking how sad it is that this is his last complete movie role....at least thats how i feel about it
oh and like benxtaron said above, i hope Chris nolan puts a dedication to him in the movie somewhere

but dones it sound bad that the Mag it self is selling it's owen mag on e bay? i mean it just sounds like thier selling on his death. When that issue would have sold out. Do know what I'm talking adout? I think that the issue that thier selling on e bay should go to chairty.
