I'm willing to bet that most of the Star Wars fans here have heard of the Star Wars Holiday Special that was only aired once in 1978. George Lucas hated it. He wanted every copy of it tracked down and burned. I wanted to know why. I found it on the internet earlier today. Well, I saw it. It was definitely Star Wars, and it had some "interesting" moments in it. If any of you are wanting to see it, here's the link. (It still has the 1970's commercials in it.) (On the site, you can download it for iPods. So if you ever want to watch it again, you'll have something for a plane ride. ) video.google.com/videoplay?docid=323909610753051544&q=ststar+wars+holiday&total=886&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1(Super cheesy huh?) Please post your thoughts on this thread.

My brother and I bought a bootleg copy of it at the LA comic con. I fell asleep about 10 minutes into it. It's beyond awful. Life Day...Bea Arthur...ugh.

"Beyond awful" is soooo true, kiefer. The only tiny, teenie glimmer to come out of it IMHO was the Boba Fett cartoon...but THAT'S it! Lumpy, life day, Bea Arthur = disaster.

Well, I'm glad to see that some of you were actually able to sit through the whole thing. I couldn't do it. I had to skip the last ten minutes as soon as Leia started singing the Life Day song. ;D (Eventually, I did get back to watch it though.)
