I've never watched an entire episode of 24, though I'd really like to see season 1.

24 is dumb. Heroes is less dumb, so I watch that. And thanks for rubbing it in, but I don't own a Tivo.

I also live in Canada, however, I just could never get into 24. How many bad things can happen in 1 day...24 apparently, and how many of those bad days can one guy have....what season is next? 7...come on....lol
Now as for Heroes, its just fun, thats all....although that ending could have been better for season 1

Heroes wins hands down--it's SUPPOSED to be rediculous.

Well I do have TiVO but I don't watch 24. I still see Keifer soaring through the air tormenting Johnny....

I live in Australia and they are on at different times. However, I try not to watch live to air TV as I hate ads, so I usually video both (yes, good old VHS) and watch them later. I don't have Pay TV.

I've been a huge fan of 24 since about 4 years ago, but halfway through last season, I stopped watching and focused on Heroes. Hopefully, next season will be better.

I don't watch either, but I'm thinking of giving Heroes another chance. I didn't like it when I first tried to get into it, but now it seems that absolutely everyone I know is SO into Heroes lately.
24 though... eh. I never thought it was any good, and everyone has always seemed to agree with me except this one crazy kid. I mean, they don't even plan this show out, they just write it as they go along, with no idea what they'll write for the next week.

there's not really an option for me... i watch 24 and DON'T tivo heroes.
heroes seemed good at first, but i eventually got tired of them building up cool seeming plots for it's characters, raising the stakes, only to have it all fizzle through awkward and clunky storytelling. they just seemed to get tired of the stories they were juggling, so they would just drop them and start up random new ones without any sort of resolution. heroes was a cool idea, with good characters and actors, but it never really went anywhere.
but don't get me wrong, 24 certainly isn't perfect, and it isn't even close to making my top twenty tv shows of all times, but they at least know how to keep the tension going, and have a really cool plot twist every now and then.

Heroes, definitely. I love it.
24 just doesn't work for me.

I've watched 24 from the beginning. I tried to get into heroes, and, believe me, the first season was great. But this season has to be the worst sophomore slump for a hit show that I have ever personally seen. Not even season 2 of Lost came this close to bad.
Sorry to all you heroes fans, but I will finish this season up, since there is nothing else on, and then I will probably be done, unless they pull a huge Lost-like twist out and keep me hooked.
