Did anyone watch this show?
As someone who's not a reality TV fan, I thought it was pretty interesting. As long it doesn't get to be too much more like Survivor I will keep watching.
Thoughts?

I didn't watch it for the sole reason that I can't stand reality TV.
I did think it looked like an interesting social experiment though.

I don't usually watch reality tv but I did think it was a new interesting idea. Not more tired worn out thing. So I watched it thought it was interesting and I think I will keep watching unless it does go the way of the other crappy reality tv shows.

I saw it. I loved it. The girl who won the gold star deserved it. She reminded me of myself.

Yeah - I'm with most of you in hating reality shows but enjoyed this show just cause its a different concept. I think its great to watch kids figure it out on their own, its set for my DVR for the season.

I found the series premiere to be alternately annoying and fascinating. I'll keep watching it for a few more weeks to see if I really get into it. That girl who said, "I don't do dishes - I'm a beauty queen" needs a reality check. Does anyone know if the jobs of the kids will change with every challenge? Like, next week whoever comes in first will be the upper class. If they want it to be like a real world society, they should have to stay in the same class for the whole series. Might as well teach the kids at this age that the rich get richer.

I really liked the idea behind the show ... that kids would try to build some kind of nicer society ... until the other shoe would drop and they would start to beat each other up like in "Lord of the flies". But what I actually saw had too much intervention from the adults in it for my taste.
But I've only seen the Pilot.
Once I hear that the kids screwed on all the rules, ran to the candy store and ate it all despite any money issues I will watch it again. ;D

Yeah it was. That little kid on the red team who always wears the cowboy hat is hilarious! He says the funniest things, man.

The episode a couple nights ago was great. I hope there is a re-election. Get Taylor off the council!

Oh Gosh! I will scream cheers if the get Taylor of the council. I can't stand her. She's so lazy. She just needs to go home. And Greg needs an attitude adjustment.

But he works. I agree with him that the only reason the the little girl got the star this week is because it was her birthday. Yes. He needs to have an attitude adjustment, but he definitely deserves a gold star. I mean, he can't top what he did in episode 2. He really beat himself up working and helping everybody when he didn't need to. And this episode when Laural said "What else has Greg done but work hard?" when deciding who gets the gold star. That ticked me off. I mean, isn't that what the gold star is about? Who works the hardest? Oh well. I just really want this show to be on another season, even if the decisions frustrate me. Oh one more thing. Only one gold star awarded has been a good decision. The first week with Sophia. She did deserve the star. (She reminds me of myself. ) I mean, she, just one person, was doing all the cooking for 40 people. She tried to establish order. Yes, Michael does give a short speech every once and a while, but all he really has done is pour hot water on a frozen pipe. Greg butchered chickens, and helped everybody else even though he was upper class. Mallory, as I said earlier, only got the star because it was her birthday. Greg worked harder.
