Oh. Em. Gee. That was the biggest Lost rip-off ever. Panning out to reveal the chick's in a wheelchair? Totally shameless! Ugh. If it wasn't for Hiro, I would quit watching this show for good.

Wasn't it cute that Hiro was so excited that his powers finally did some good, and he helped save someone...Interesting show I must say.

www.wizarduniverse.com/television/tvother/002273624.cfmMasi Oka and Scott Porter interview each other (actor's from Heroes and Friday Night Lights, respectively)... SCOTT PORTER: Watching [“Heroes,”] I dig the fact that none of the characters on the show have self-explanatory powers. They’re all like tangents off of like existing powers that you would have in comic books. They have a very interesting take on them in that no one is cut and dry like, “This is what they do and this is how they do it.” Do you have any theories on Hiro, exactly how he teleports, why he jumps five weeks into the future when he tries to go to New York? MASI OKA: I don’t know exactly how. I don’t know how they got that, but I just know that Hiro believes in it. My personal theory is that he just doesn’t have control over his power yet and the whole idea of bending time and space is kind of interconnected within that world. So when he tries to teleport, I think that it’s harder for him to teleport and when he does that he has less control and he manipulates the space-time continuum at the same time. The farther it is, the more work he has to do.

Well, it was kinda a bit of a Lost rip off, but hey give Heroes credit, they at least didn't wait 3 SEASONS to explain how she got in the wheelchair (at least the basic reasoning).
I was so excited when they showed Micah having a power (even though we all guessed it), I also thought that it was interesting that Micah knew that he was talking to Jessica not his Mom, I think that means he's interacted with her before.
Has anyone noticed if the weird "single helix" tattoo is on Nikki's shoulder or just Jessica's. I heard it mentioned on a Heroes podcast that they thought that it only showed up on Jessica but I can't remember.

Yeah, Jessica has a tattoo and Nikki doesn't.

Thanks so much. I don't have time to rewatch them right now but I really wanted to know.

If you are into spoilers at all - tv.yahoo.com has about 3 minutes of scenes from tonight... I think HRG is on the good side

I didn't read the article, but I heard Father Roderick say that the producers are saying Heroes is the anti-Lost. They claim viewers don't have to wait for answers. Everything is given within the next few episodes. After several episodes, I have to say the show is becoming a bit obvious. EVERYBODY has powers. I expect Nathan's wife to get up out of that wheelchair soon.

I still like Heroes, last nights episode was pretty good. I do find it annoying though that everyone seems to have powers now, I got into Nathan and Peter, and DL and that groups stories, but because of all these other people with powers we hardly get to see them. I was actually happy that the girl who seemed to be really smart died because I didnt want another new character.

Besides, Hiro was in the birthday picture with her, so he gets back in time and will presumably save her.

Ok I agree with PatriotsFan somewhat. I thought it a bit strange that there were so many people with powers. However, I really did like the new girl. I could do without some of the others but I kinda like her. She is quirky and cute and is an interesting character. Ok so this is a question beat to death but is the glasses guy evil/semi evil/or just weird. My opinion changes every episode.
