On your harddrive or on CDs and whatnot.
I don't have all that many CDs. Maybe like 10-12.
I've got 12.3 GB of music on my computer though. ;D

1097 Songs. roughly 6 gigs. All of which I selected song by song, and delete any song that doesn't get listened to at least 5 timese a month to make room on my iPod.

Ahh.... music... Much like movies, this is my addiction... I seem to have a thing for stuff that comes on little silver disks.
I have hundreds of CDs (dozens of vinyl records, and hundreds of cassette tapes). On my laptop I only have close to 30GB (nearly 5000 songs), but on my server at home I have somewhere over 150GB (well over 40,000 tracks)... Mind you this includes all my audio files, mostly music, but also audiobooks and radio plays.
Sad thing is I have nothing compared to my roommate. He is a former DJ and has several 250GB drives filled with music, mixes, and his own creations.

So much music that my husband had to install an extra hard drive for storage. A bookcase full of CD's. What really irks me is I end up buy some of the same material over and over, LP's, CD's, etc. I'm hoping that the computer format is the last one for my lifetime.

42.5 GB on my harddrive. I also have a huge collection of cd's & vinyls but after getting an iPod they've been mostly gathering dust. My music taste is wide, I don't like to be stuck on any specific genre.

I have 18GB on my iTunes/iPod, or around 4100 songs. Since music is one of my absolute obsessions, however, I have about 400-500 CDs, and good amount of LPs as well.

I have something like 20 CDs and... *checks* 54GB of music on my harddrive currently, holy moly thats too much. I also have music that was on my harddrive that I've burned onto CDRs. Its sickening!

Don't know - I stopped counting when I had 20,000 songs (in 1999). I only have about 60 CDs, so not very many compared to many other people.
