Yep. Ginger got to it before me. It's legit and a great program and I've been using it ever since I got my Video, but I haven't felt the need to put any movies on my iPod since a) The files get pretty big and I don't see any point filling up my iPod with it and b) You'd be lucky if you can even watch the movie with the pathetic battery life when watching Videos.
But yeah. It's legal and whatnot.
As for The Strokes album. It's definitely a whole new different sound from their other albums, but I'm really liking it. It's a love or hate thing, but I think it might be my favorite album by them. It's definitely worth checking out.

Sunan, yes the battery life is awful, I get 3-4 hours maybe just listening to music. I sit at a desk all day so I usually keep it plugged in to watch movies. I only have a couple of movies and they don't take up too much space.
Anyway as for the original topic. I'm in my Dave (Matthews) phase again, I've been listeneing to all Dave all the time pretty much. They're my favorite and it never gets old to me.

Nice. Dave Matthews is from a city just fifty or so miles away from here. My friend went to the same private school as the daughter as one of the members in DMB. I think it was the violinist.
I've been hooked on a band called The Pillows for a long while now too. They're a Japanese rock band, and even though I can't really understand what it is they're singing about, they sure know how to play.

I used to be a HUGE Dave Matthews Band fan. Like Huge. I've seen them in concert like 25 times, I have a TON of bootlegs. BUt in the last 5 years I haven't even listened to it. I hate to say it but.....DMB hasn't put anything out worthwhile since Before these Crowded Streets. I now listen to all sorts of great music, DMB just doesn't compare to the artists I listen to now. But more power to you! If you like DMB you will like the artists I listed above, check them out, you won't be disapointed.

Dave used to be one of my favorites too. I also went through a Metallica stage, and a Pearl Jam stage.
I have been listening to the new Strokes album non-stop and it is fantastic! I must admit, when I started listening to it I thought it was pretty wierd but the more I listen to it the more I love it.
Other artists that are heavy in my rotation these days are Oasis (semi-new album Don't Believe the Truth), Franz Ferdinand, Coldplay, The Killers, Kanye West, The Kings of Leon, Queens of the Stone Age, and I am trying to get into the new Audioslave cd but it is taking some time.
I am going to see the Strokes live in Tulsa on March 11th, and I am super excited!!
