alright so I am having MAJOR Lost withdrawals so I thought that I would start this thred.... My Favorite movies are - Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (what can I say I'm a Dork ;D )
- High School Musical..... (Here comes the ridicule, lol)
- The Day After Tomrow (Young Jake Gyllenhaal... Enough said)
- Narnia (If you seen my Myspace you know that I LOVE William Mosely)
- A Knights Tale (Queen Music + Heath Ledger + Medival sport where people run at each other with lances = Gold)

Back to the Future, Groundhog Day, Ghostbusters, Men In Black, Home Alone, Heavyweights, Elf, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Terminator... just all the old funny/action stuff, I guess.

ah there is quite a few indeed, no real reaaal favorite that i can think of right now maybe later. But i like "the boondock saints" a lot. Also: pulp fiction saving private ryan Lord of the Rings trilogy The Godfather La Haine Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain

lotr gets really boring since they are sooo EXTREMELY long. i dont know why people like them so much. i can see how they have a cool plot but most people get too obessed with them.

It's long indeed, but the story is so awesome and intriguing, you get sucked into that world and you live their happy and sad times along with them. Kinda. I think watching it in the right circumstances helps too. Darkened room, not too much peeps, peeps who love watching stuff like this, sweet girl who cries when the teary scenes attack, etcetra it all helps. *edit: yeah defenitly need to add starwars saga to that list I dont care if some installments were less awesome, it's still entertaining to watch.

my number one fav for the past few years: RUSHMORE
honorable mentions: back to the future trilogy star wars original trilogy all of tarantinos films (they have a close place near my heart) reservoir dogs, pulp fiction. jackie brown, kill bill four rooms le bande aparte (sp?) masculin feminin shoot the piano player dog day afternoon royal tenenbaums life aquatic the good the bad and the ugly cecil b. demented pecker pirates of the carribean (1 & 2) indiana jones: raiders of the lost ark indiana jones and the temple of doom the holy grail goodfellas (greatest mob movie ever)
theres so so so many more but thats all I can think of for right now, Im sure I will think of more later...I love movies by the way.

Ben Stiller cracks me up in that one... "Come on, you devil log!" Oh, yeah, I can't believe I forgot Indiana Jones. Definitely a favorite.

his character in that remiinds me of his character in dodgeball, and I like how he plays the dad of the guy in heavyweights too.
