U might like it, i havent read any of it. But they changed the end 4 the musical, and i prefer the musical's version, you'll see. They also made a sequel to wizard of Oz by the same author called "Son of a witch"

WOW! I need to read that book, its a classic and very contriversial. The man who assassinated John Lennon was obsessed with that book, he thought Lennon was a "phoney", even thought he once was a huge fan of his music, he turned on him.

I'm reading Jurassic Park. It's much better than the movie. Lots longer, more dinosaurs, and more chaos than ever.

Right now, I'm reading The Lightning Thief. If you like Ancient Greek mythology, you'd like this book. 'Tis quite awesome.

I'm finally getting around to reading Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. I've been wanting to read it for years and now I have a little free time to actually get it done. Servo3k (are you those lifts in your hoverskirt?), how did you like Catcher in the Rye? I never had to read it for school and grabbed a copy a year or so ago just to see what all the fuss was about. It turned out that I loved it. I've been wanting to reread it, but I loaned my copy and never got it back.

Right now, I'm reading The Lightning Thief. If you like Ancient Greek mythology, you'd like this book. 'Tis quite awesome. The author of that novel came to my high school! I saw him give a book reading in our library. He's a really cool guy and he was funny. I'm glad to hear you enjoy his book. He read an excerpt from his book before it came out. I love hearing authors read from their books themselves, cool. Here's an interesting bio on him: Rick Riordan spent fifteen years as a classroom teacher in public and private middle schools in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Texas. In 1997, he began publishing mystery novels for adults. His popular Tres Navarre series has won the top three national awards in the mystery genre – the Edgar, the Anthony and the Shamus. He began THE LIGHTNING THIEF as a bedtime story for his son. The novel draws on Riordan’s experience teaching Greek mythology and his interaction with students who have learning differences. It is his first work for young readers. Rick Riordan now writes full-time. He lives in San Antonio with his wife and two sons. *That's where I live too! * www.kidsreads.com/authors/au-riordan-rick.asp

Whoa! That's so cool! Yeah, it definitely is pretty neat hearing an author read their own work. I saw Anthony Horowitz at a bookstore and he read from a recent book of his, Ark Angel. It was unbelievably awesome to hear him read. Thanks for the info about him, I don't know much about Riordan. Maybe you'll run into him at a store =)
I'm a little over a hundred pages away from the end. It's a really good read!
