I'm trying...TRYING to get through a review of more epics...The Epic of Gilgamesh (again), The Illiad (cuz Achillies reminds me of Zeppelin's "Achilles Last Stand", and I have to read it ), and The Oddessy, which would be the third time I've read it, but this time for my World Lit class. My teachers always told me Hamlet was a wuss. He could never make up his mind. All he did was make these grand speeches and did nothing. But it was tragic. How's The Oddessy? Hehe, Hamlet a wuss..I'm a sucker for Old English, so I liked it. That, and the way it ended. Some parts of it were a bit boring though.

The Iliad. Phew, it's a killer. 600 pages! I'll muscle through it; I like English, anyways.

=D Awesome. Hehe, that's one of the reasons I like it so much. I'm reading Codex by Lev Grossman. I don't know how to describe it without saying too much, but it's about rare books/a computer game and so far I'm really enjoying it .

SGW, I'm about half way through "Stormbreaker"...it's great so far, reminds me of "Alias" sometimes I read it a while ago; it's pretty good...I would have said it was awesome if I remember everything. I guess I've just been influenced by so many good thrillers -- DECEPTION POINT, Dan Brown (WAAAY better than Angels and Demons <--which is also WAAY better than Da Vinci Code); ONE SHOT, Lee Child; THE PENDRAGON SERIES, D.J. MacHale <--GREAT series. It looks weird and too fantasy-y at first, but it is very addicting. Trust me. Read it, Potter fans. I would argue that it is def. Potter calibur.

The Pendragon series.. I can vouch for you on that! It is an awesome series. Great characterization and the plot has some great unexpected and unique aspects to it.

Eh, okay I finished Codex by Lev Grossman. The ending was unsatisfactory. It's like the author spent all his time getting the reader into the book & writing a creative plot. Then the ending is just plain stupid. It seems rushed and a lot of the things aren't explained well, no good closure.
Now reading A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, its my third time going through the series and I think they are the only books I've read in the last 3 or 4 years.
