i think the plot is a hitman is trying to kill someone on a plane with snakes he smuggled on in suitcases, but sam jackson will not let it happen on his MFing plane! sam jackson wore this shirt the other night at the mtv movie awards  Yay! I missed me some SLJ....after he was killed in Star Wars I was shocked! I loved his work in the Tarantino films Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill. Brilliant! he only said one line in kill bill vol 2, still hes cool |

there is one reason this movie works, Sam Jackson is the lead actor and it is called "snakes on a plane". Sam Jackson even said himself if they changed the title he wasnt going to do the picture. and with out this formula (the title and sam jackson) it would be horrible and not worth watching.

Actually the movie is an adaptation of The Diary of Anne Frank. The thought the hide out was too slow so they changed it to a plane. (not many things are faster than a plane) Then they realized it was just to soon for the Nazis and aircraft (Hindenberg) so they didn't want to cut that demographic out. They changed the Nazis to snakes because they're not slitherin into movie theatres. But they felt a small Jewish girl hiding from snakes was a little wimpy so they changed it to a large "African American" battling snakes. So there ya go. SNAKES ON A PLANE. Sure to be one of the greatest holocuast adaptation in recent years.
