oh yeah thats rite, its Tucker Thread time  the purpose of this thread is for people to recomend music that you think is le awsome but im not talking about 'oh i recomend 50 cents new song, its le cool" im talking about bands or singers that people might not have heard of if there is anyone out there who likes some laid back music or likes folk, then i highly recommend Joshua Radin this person is a signer/songwriter who has had songs on tv shows such as scrubs and greys anatomy but he is not really well known songs by joshua that are le awsome and you should definately check out are winter closer today ( from his album 'first between 3rd and 4th' ) these photographs all of his other songs are really great but these ones are my fav anywho, enough rambling from me anything u guys would recomend? |

I found a pretty cool band yesterday called "office" (no "the") they got a good sound, along the lines of the strokes I guess...

my recomendation....Violet Femmes old rock band but still good like blister in the sun is my all time favorite song

Yeah, thats where I got it too. Do they really sound like The Strokes? Their one of my favorite bands! I haven't listened to it yet. Anyway, good music suggestions can be found in Cody's blog. He's a member here and has a diverse taste in music! Check it out!

They make so much noise for only two people! And Wilco! I am so jealous Cody got to meet them and a number of other artists in this thread. |

Ok, I'm gonna throw in my two cents... I've discovered some really great local bands in the past couple of months (local to me is central Florida). They are really great guys, easy-going, love to hang with their fans, so that makes me like them even more... Last Great Hope - def. punk...reminds me of MXPX a lot, but more old school...they've been around for a few years, and actually playing Warped Tour in FL this year From Adam to Atom - just formed last year...they are punkish, kinda pop, definitely rock...I think they could be a huge band, they have a really great sound, radio-friendly (which I realize doesn't appeal to a lot of people, but I like it  They are both on Myspace, so check them out www.myspace.com/lastgreathopewww.myspace.com/fromadamtoatom |
