I would have to say Keifer Sutherland. He is the essence of 24, and without him, the show would suck. He is also very good in the quick and the dead, with emilio estevese. Very good actor. Errol Flynn <sp> As far as modern movies go....Liam Neeson There are actually many more but he is one of my favs. Oh yeah, Jim Caviezel

Michael J. Fox is my hero.
I also think that Ian McKellen can do no wrong. He's simply brilliant.

That was Michael Emerson, cody, and yea, he was the crazy serial killer in "The Practice". He got an emmy for best male guest star in a drama.

Criminy, I don't know... I see a lot of you are quoting Forrest Gump, which happens to star one of my favorite actors. No, not Tom Hanks, Gary Sinise. A very talented man, that Gary. Not to mention he produced, directed and starred in the movie adaptation of one of my favorite books, Of Mice and Men. As far as comedies go, I've always really liked Nathan Lane, Robin Williams and a host of other funny-men. I mention Lane and Williams by name because they happen to star in my favorite comedy of all time, The Birdcage. If you haven't seen, stop reading this post and go rent. I garentee you will be entertained. And, of course, we all have "guilty pleasure actors. Ya know, the people who aren't terribly prominant in the film world, but you still see everything they've ever been in? For me it's Art Garfunkel and Max Casella. Art Garfunkel, because I'm a crazy-obsessed Simon & Garfunkel fan (the entire left side of my room is a shrine to them...it's sad). Max Casella, because I'm a closet Doogie Howser, MD. fanatic...and besides, who doesn't LOVE Vinnie Delpino?

OH! I just remembered. Viggo Mortensen, the guy who played Aragorn in TLOTR trilogy and he was awesome in A History of Violence too.
