I'm gonna set my expectations to the minimum so whatever happens, it will be better than expected. Trailers are a huge part of the problem--they can really set your expectations high. Like the X3 trailer. And look how that turned out. Oy.

Totally agree. But I do believe that Spider-Man 3 will be great, cause the last two didn't let me down at all. If Superman wants to break through, though, the producers have to make it longer than 90 minutes. You can't have a blockbuster be only an hour and a half. LOTR was 3 hours long for god's sake, and it is one of the most beloved movie trilogies of all time. You would think by now the producers would get it through their heads that people are getting sick of this crap, but I guess old habits die hard.
Check out the Spider-Man 3 thread, some interesting stuff there. It will definitely get your hopes up.
