I've seen it Charliefan It's from Heavyweights. Very funny part, they're up on the mountain on their 20 mile hike. "There will be no food- this is a cleansing hike. Just Mother Earth, Father Sky... and your dear old Uncle Tony." But I can't guess wannabeactuary's either.

It's okay they aren't getting it. It was forgettable. heh (yeah, I know I am not saying the answer, but I don't have a quote to give right now... perhaps if it still hasn't been said when I think of a good one I will come back and edit this.)

wow, didn't think I would stump people with a quote from "i, Robot"
it's Will Smith who said it...that movie sucks me in each time it's on HBO...I just can't turn away from it...not to mention that I own it on DVD.
anyway, try this one out... "I can't go back to who I was. I'm different now. I sing." as an additional hint, I'll give another quote from the SAME movie...(but different character) "My mother didn't believe in mayonnaise. She didn't believe in food that requires electricity."

This one I can honestly say I don't know... As I said, the previous one didn't stump me, but I had no quote of my own to share at the time and I don't like to answer without continuing the game... but this one stumps me, even though it sounds really familiar. Without cheating I can't seem to place it, so I am stumped... and have not yet cheated. heh.

Great set of movies, but choosing a quote that matches where you got your Avatar and quote from may not have been the best idea to stump people. Heh That one was from Back to the Future 2 Which had a future that seemed to sort of resemble the one I get this quote from. "This is the future? Where are all the phaser guns?" and for an extra hint, if you want it, here is a second quote from the same movie. "We're police officers, we're not trained to handle this kind of violence!" Not a good movie, but it sure was fun and entertaining. Plus, the lead actress was just so cute in it.

yeah, wasnt shootin for a stumper, just had the movies on my mind, but yours is demolition man, personally, I preffer judge dredd over demolition man in the lame future movies starring sly stallone.
I think this is the best line in the whole movie,
"I feel ready for whatever the experience is that we will... take with us after the show. I'm sure it will be... an adventure... a voyage on this... magnificent vessel... into unchartered waters! What if we see sailfish... jumping... and flying across the magnificent orb of a setting sun?"

Next quote:
"This is not 'Nam--this is bowling. There are rules."

ivery funny stuff. you ever considered writing a screenplay? Yupper. I've written some shorts, and wrote most of a feature when I was in grad school for creative writing. I'm actually in the middle of a new one right now--as in, I have Final Draft open on my laptop and I'm taking a little break. And correctamundo--it's from Lebowski. Mark it, dude. Next quote: "He called you names! He called you a little piece of chicken!"
