But when the sixth book was released I went to the midnight opening, read until 4 a.m. fell asleep, woke up at 10 and continued reading until I was done at 9 or so that night. But of course I reread it after that much slower Heh, that's what I did too, 'cept I finished around 7 or 8.

You were one of those kids with a broom in one hand and a scar on your forehead, no? I usually wait, till the little kids are asleep then I pry their little fingers off it! LOL BTW, Blaw....were you a HP fan before you were a Lost fan? I was a HP fan first and then when LOST came I HAD to know everything about its mythology, losing the HP one in the process...I still try to keep up with Harry's world, but I am so preoccupied with Lost. I know the Pottercast crew tried to do a Lost podcast (I sent Melissa an email encouraging them to do one), but I can see how they can't keep up with both. Yea I was an HP fan WAY WAY WAY before LOST was even created. I'm actually more into HP than LOST with the mythology part. Yea i listen to their lost podcast. But you can definatly tell how busy they are. Their Finale podcast isnt out yet lol. Did Melissa answer you back? Hehe can't wait for tomorrow because I know the new topic will cause lots of debating.

I knew you were a HP fan before Lost came around! I was very much into the HP mythology, but I can't get enough of 'Lost'. Maybe after HP is over, the Potter fans will turn to LOST, why not?
I haven't sent Melissa an email in a while. Ever since January, she and Andrew and John were toying with the thought of doing one and I wrote her two emails back then...when she mentioned it on Pottercast, I almost got hit by a bus on my way to school! But I didn't think she would actually do it!
Maybe I should email her again....what's so good about tomarrow and this topic? I Love this thread!!! Thanks for putting it up! You're keeping me in the loop with all this HP stuff!

Haha you're welcome matt! I love this thread too.
Totally Lost was a good podcast and it was entertaining because they would watch the episode and you would hear them talk during the break. I thought that was a clever format.
The topic tommorow has already been debated on this forum. Is that a good enough clue?

I concur. No one else did that. But the name could use some work. Where did they stop? I stopped listening...my iPod refused to play them. But I didn't care. I at least had my LostCasts and Jay and Jack!
OK, your really confusing me with this topic ambiguity! I'll wait till tomarrow, I'm patient. Gunna go meditate now.

Well they went from Lockdown to Three Minutes and we're still waiting for the Finale podcast.
It's actually two BIG topics meshed into one because they relate to eachother. I love torturing you!
But I mean if you guys have stuff you want to talk about let me know or else I will make them up.

Hmm....so irresponsible. Bring up another Canon Conundrum! I like that segment, but my favorite is the Modcast!

What do you think should I make the new topic now?
no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no! Canon Conundrums is my favorite followed by the mailbag/drums.

Come on! They have some great in-depth analysis about the chararcter...Mugglecast kinda has that, but it feels too jumbled into the rest of the discussion. And I like Asfaldel Wormwords accent!

Hello! My names MODERATOR MATT! I love the Modcast! Take that Daaaaawwwlish! LOL However, my favorite ep was that 'Wizard Rock' one. Melissa does a great journalistic approach to making the podcast more enjoyable....BTW, are you going to Lumos 2006. I'm not, not THAT big of a fan. I'd rather go to the ComicCon in LA this summer so I could go see Damon and Calton. I'm trying to convince my aunts boyfriend...he's a hugh comic freak!

Topic 3: It’s a biggie people. Is Dumbledore dead and WTF is up with Snape. Since these two go together I’ve made them one. Do you think they had a master plan? If for any reason Snapes cover as a double-agent was in jeopardy that he could kill Dumbledore. Or is Snape just 100% bad and we should hate his guts? Or is he a confused man with greasy hair? Is Dumbledore actually dead? (yes).
Have fun!
No I'm not going to lumos, it's too far away. Don't forget Jay and Jack are gonna be at comiccon too.

They are? *faints* I'm so jealous!!
Anyhoo...
I think Dumbledore is dead. I think Snape is some kind of double agent, and if I'm right, JKR did a great job in setting that up. No one saw that coming. But what if he isn't? What if he's STILL bitter over the fact that Dumbledore never gave him the job he initially desired? What if he's trying to make Harry's life even more miserable taking away the only person who is the most capable of defeating the Dark Lord? Does he have his own personal agenda? Dunno...so many questions!!! But his alibi does check out...and its credible that he MIGHT be bad, but I don't think so.
However, I think Pettigrew may be more good than him, if that makes any sense at all. Help me out here, Blaw!

Well I think Dumbledore is completely dead, he's not coming back, no never. JKR said when a characters dead they are dead. Like Sirius everyone thought he could come back in some way.
Snape is....confusing. I want to think he is good but parts of me say he is bad. But I do think he and Dumbledore had a plan. Hagrid overhearing them talk, it just makes sense. How can you forget the "Severus please". Dumbledore would never plead for himself to be spared. Another thing I think about is when at the end of book 6 they are in the hospitol wing with McGonnigal and Remus, they were as surprised in Dumbledore's death as anyone. So would Dumbledore want the Order thinking Snape is bad if he really wasn't? No. Do you see where I'm getting at?
