Ok back on topic now... I kinda have a feeling that R.A.B. might not be dead. But most likely he/she is. And I read this somewhere but I don't know where exactly. When the books were translated obviously the Black family had a new name. So when it came to RAB's letter, the first initial of the translated Black name was the last initial in RAB when that changed too. I don't think we need anymore proof. Other than JKR just telling us

RAB was a distant cousin of Sirius, no? Forgive me if I forgot. I was too entralled with a TV show called Lost. But don't call it a TV show anymore! JKR better give us a title for book 7 soon. I am not a fan of 070707, I want her to savor these last few years? before its out...and really make it perfect! Perhaps Shinra can inspire her.

R.A.B. is an unknown character at this time. Or do you mean Regulus? He's Sirius brother. He was a deatheater and was killed. I think Sirius said he got in too deep and tried to get out. Which clearly represents what R.A.B. did. And on the note R.A.B. addressed Voldemort as "Dark Lord" which only deatheaters did!
Yea I want her to make this book absolutely perfect! And make it longer than HBP but shorter than OotP.

just a side question - how fast did you read the potter books i remember in the newspaper there were people reading it in a day. i think that is stupid because i like things like that to last ( by in a day i mean 1 day after release day) i would read about 2 or 3 chapters a day wen the 5th a 6th book came out

The actors are already like 4 years older than the characters or something.

I think they are putting themselves in a position to where they MUST finish the series with the same actors. I am not a big fan of the films, but I did like the cinematography in the third one. Anyway, I hope they do. I don't wanna see another guy play Harry, not that the one they have is all that good. But still. They did a great job on the last scene...when I read about the time traveling, that was confusing, so it was great they did it well on film.
BTW, it takes me a while to read the books to. You usually end up reading them more than once anyway.

Well when the first books came out I was younger (and less hard-core) and read a couple chapters a night. But when the sixth book was released I went to the midnight opening, read until 4 a.m. fell asleep, woke up at 10 and continued reading until I was done at 9 or so that night. But of course I reread it after that much slower

You were one of those kids with a broom in one hand and a scar on your forehead, no? I usually wait, till the little kids are asleep then I pry their little fingers off it! LOL
BTW, Blaw....were you a HP fan before you were a Lost fan? I was a HP fan first and then when LOST came I HAD to know everything about its mythology, losing the HP one in the process...I still try to keep up with Harry's world, but I am so preoccupied with Lost. I know the Pottercast crew tried to do a Lost podcast (I sent Melissa an email encouraging them to do one), but I can see how they can't keep up with both.
