I was just curious as to why you guys started watching LOST.
I did because Dominic Monaghan is in it (charlie) and as you may already know I'm a BIG fan of the LotR movies!
I didn't start really watching LOST untill there were only a few episodes left in the First season, but I'd go on the internet to see what was going on in the show.
the reason I didn't get to watch it was because my dad clamed it was stupid, but now he's changed his mind and is just as into it as I am!

Well, my first reaction to Lost was, "That looks SO dumb there is no way I'm going to watch supermodels stranded on a desert island." And I didn't...my brother and Mom were way into it and for the first couple of weeks they were persistantly trying to get me to watch it. I met each of there requests with, "No. It's dumb." Eventually, they started denying me access to the living room while Lost was on, claiming, "It's too far into it now, and you'll know answers to things you shouldn't. Wait for the DVD to come out and we'll watch them all then." And I did. I only had to wait a week to find out what was in the hatch.
The only episode I ever did watch before my DVD marathon was "Numbers". And after that I ended up being intensely annoyed with Charlie and otherwise indifferent. Funny how things change up, huh?

I watched it because me and my family were looking for something to watch, so we turned on ABC and there was the pilot of LOST. I have seen every episode except one, which was because I was on a road trip and stuff. But I am hopefully getting the DVD of Season 1 for Christmas..Im exited.

I started watching the show when all I heard
everywhere I went was LOST this and LOST that....
at work
at Bunco
in the grocery store
so I watched an episode and was hooked
one episode got me

I started watching Lost because of a different reason; I'm a fan of JJ Abrams due to his work on Alias, which I love. So when I heard he was creating a new show, I knew immediately I'd give it a chance. I've seen them all on the air since the pilot.  |

I started watching Lost because I was already a huge Alias fan, and thought that anything JJ Abrams did would be great.

So how do you think they'll wrap up Alias? Shame it's over but I think it jumped the shark a bit ago.

So how do you think they'll wrap up Alias? Shame it's over but I think it jumped the shark a bit ago. I think the show will end with Sydney killing or being killed by Nadia, and Sloane will die regardless. Yeah it jumped the shark late season 3 or early season 4.  |

I don't think they'd end it with Sydney dying; that would be a huge disservice to fans (like me) who have stuck with the thing throughout.
It was a mistake to eliminate Syd's secret life so quickly; I think that problem has hounded the show since the end of S1, sadly.

My husband brought home the season one dvd's. The kids and I put one in to humor him, and lo' and behold, we were hooked. We watched them all in one weekend, then got the other episodes on the internet for season two. Then we were caught up and had to wait like everybody else. |

speaking of the DVD have you guys seen the Jimmy Kimmel thing on the 7th dvd? if you haven't you must! it's sooo funny! I saw it a couple times (the time it originally aired and a repeat) everyone in my family was like "it better be on the DVD, or at least be like an easter egg!"
I love Jimmy Kimmel (ubt not in that way....ewwwww....)
