Yeah sorry Dani, a lot of us have ventured over to Twitter. It's easier, but this board will always have a spot in our hearts. It's where we all met.
But we need a topic to talk about, that will bring people back.

Wow, not all at once everyone. Since it was so nice a couple of days ago I went out and enjoyed a sunset on the beach. Figured you can't see that on hulu. Even took out my camera and got a few shots of the idiots on the ice. Yes - in 80+ weather there is still ice - it just looks like those piles of dirty snow you see in mall parking lots. It was kinda surreal though.

Nice picture Cindy. For easter this year we are not going to visit any family (my mother and sister are working). We are going to go and do some spring cleaning.
Boo for spring cleaning.

Very pretty Cindy. 80+ and still ice so is that what hell would look like if it froze over?
Easter for here we went down the road to my cousin Jeff's house. Their friends Nick and Mandy with their 2 boys came over too. It's a lot easier to stay at Jeff's house with his kids it's better so they can play with their toys. It was nice it was just our usual family group. We had set up an Easter Egg hunt for the kids. They are so cute going after the eggs.

Ha! The weatherman did say it would be slightly cooler near the lake. Guess he wasn't kidding. You guys should have seen it last month. There were even sunbathers then (and more ice). I'd post that picture, but I only had the camera on my cell phone and you know how that goes... Can't say if this is what hell frozen over looks like, but it does have a purgatorial feel to it (it is Cleveland, after all).
Didn't do anything particularly special for Easter. Visited family, dodged some weird cooking. Thankfully Martha Stewart is beginning to infiltrate the cookbook, so I could at least recognize things - before I'd only eat what I saw come out of a box, and you can only live on baklava for so long. We are waiting for a card from my nephew; he "helped" make an Easter card by donating a footprint and the women at the daycare made it look like a duck. My sister wondered why her son had yellow on his toes, but then she got to see the cards. I guess the chick's in the mail.

Nick! Welcome. Just because the show ends doesn't mean that the fun here has to... at least not right away.

One last message on the board that brought us all together before the end. Love this board, and I love you all. It's been a great 6 years. So much has changed since I joined this board. I've been fortunate enough to meet some of you. I hope to meet more of you in the future. To those I've already met hope to see you again in the future. (Great here come the tears) Karma +1 to Colleen. But real Karma to everyone else.

Nope - not going anywhere...yet anyways. Besides, Lost isn't really over for me - &^*) local ABC affiliate was having technical difficulties. Imagine this: you're ready to watch the show (snacks included so impromptu cases of the munchies aren't a mad dash during a commercial break), the show starts, and a little digital static turns into a full-fledged blue screens and entire exchanges are lost. Thought my TV was acting up and was one commercial break away from kicking someone else out of a (working) TV till I saw the crawl explaining "technical difficulties". Plenty of unhappy campers here. It even led the news. Ironically they had technical difficulties during their story about the technical difficulties. I couldn't make this stuff up. So far the local affiliate is going to try to persuade ABC to let them re-run the finale, but with all of the season finales being run this week I wonder when they'll find the time. Till then I guess we'll have to make due with a "heartfelt apology" from the station manager. I'll be catching up online.
Anyhoo, on a different note, I thought I'd share some news about a beginning that's been a while in the making. I've finally landed a job - my unemployment streak is over!!!. ;D ;D (shame proboards doesn't have smileys doing cartwheels). So I'll try to be on the boards, just not in the middle of the day or the wee hours of the morning (now that I have to wake up early and be somewhere).
