Happy Birthday Bev Jack, it's really more expensive than CA? Why? My only guess is people here drive like crap. We had 3 drivers when we moved here, and it went up about $100.00 a month. They really stick it to younger drivers. The good news is, there is no law against driving and talking on your cell phone. It makes the people who can't drive even better. You also want to keep your New York tags as long as you can. They hit you with a transfer fee, and then you have to pay property tax on your car.

Yeah, I remember you told me about the transfer fee but if I bought my car in NY, why do I have to pay a NC property tax since I didn't buy it there? Eh, I guess that sorta makes sense. I'll keep them as long as I can or until I get a job to pay for all that stuff. Booooo. I usually hate snow, but it looks pretty this morning and if it keeps snowing, then I can hopefully leave work early! Alas, it's supposed to turn to rain around noon

Don't you hate it when that happens? There's nothing sadder than soggy snow.

trying to write an essay but i just had to pop on to say: my friend was in the bathroom this morning and his brother was opening the door, so he put his finger in the doorway to stop him opening it, and his brother slammed the shut on his finger. HALF OF HIS FINGER WAS CHOPPED OFF, and he had to get it stitched back on today. i am NOT looking forward to seeing those tomorrow.
tuna cans and doors - deadly.

So for an assignment for my dynamic graphics class, I am debating whether to place a sinking tail of an airplane into the ocean part.
I think it would be funny, do you think my professor might agree? He said "draw a beach scene with a palm tree, sand, water, sun and anything else you like...be creative."
Any other ideas? Flaming arrows? Dharma sharks? Submarine? Freightor? Flash of purple light?

Last night I accidentally spoiled myself on some Lost things. I won't go into detail in case anyone hasn't seen it yet, but here is the back story on what happened.
As many of you know, I have been working some crazy hours and yesterday was day 10 of 12 straight work days, so my forgetfulness is understandable. So I was waiting for our last clients to leave (they were hanging out in lobby having a meeting) so I started checking out an article on Lost online. As I was reading I started getting confused with some of the info and was thinking things like "Did we learn that?" "Isn't that just speculation?" and "I thought he said to go to _______."
I thought perhaps I needed to go back and watch last week's eps again. I scroll up to the top to find out when the article was written and see it was January 28th and then I see it's WEDNESDAY and realize that it was Lost Day. What an idiot! I had totally forgotten it was on. Luckily I had set the recorder earlier in the week, so I got to watch it when I got home. One of the spoilers was kind of big and the other one was not, but still didn't ruin my enjoyment of it.
