I just went to my first Chelsea FC game. Chelsea is my friend's favorite team, so I got her tickets for her birthday. It was lots of fun. Just got home a few minutes ago.

+8,258 omg did you experience the horrible lightening and thunder at like 7ish this morning? I normally love it but this was the type of thunder that is sooo unbelievably loud and crackily that it makes your heart jump and it totally woke me up too...very cool but very scary  |

McLostie - yeah, during that storm, when it first hit, I was outside moving my car in my boxer shorts, getting soaked. It was wonderful.

I have to move mine tomorrow morning...yeeahhh fuunnn!! I hope it don't rain though like this morning. Looked like LI got flooded and there was even a possiable tornado in Islip. Whhoo Hoo!!

Whhoo Hoo!! +8261 yeah my dad was stuck in his parked car on the flooded LIE this morning for over an hour. it was completely bumper to bumper closed down, apparently. and my sister told me about the tornado warning. craaaazy. Good luck moving! Are you staying in Chelsea? I meant my car silly!!  Although I tend not to move mine in my boxers cause I have to run to work at 10am so I'm not to late. Yeah, between thunderstorms/floods/random tornado warnings & steam pipe explosions, it's been an interesting day in NYC. I think everyone here is just glad it wasn't some sort of terrorism thing, but they said right away that it was just a freak accident. I work 14 blocks from where it happened, but I was on my way home at the time, so everything is fine here. I just feel badly for anyone on the Lexington Ave line (4/5/6 & the 7 & anything past Grand Central wasn't running, FYI for the NYers here) so that SUCKS for anyone on the Upper East Side. And here I was b*tching about how I was inconvenienced over the R being shut down due to flooding & it was holding up MY line & making a normally 30 min trip take an hour to get back...
