Niiiiice choices...I saw "Wicked" 3 days before Idina Menzel fell and had to leave early; my friend & I waited in the freezing sleet/rain (it was January) and got her AND Joey McIntyre's autographs, which was greatest thing ever haha. The revival of "Les Mis" is pretty good, but Daphne Rubin-Vega was Fantine and let's just say that she must've peaked when she played Mimi because it was NOT okay and I say that in the nicest way possible, but Lea Salonga (best Eponine EVER from the original run and the original Kim from "Miss Saigon") just replaced her, so I bet the production is awesome now. Sorry to get all long-winded about showtunes; I just got excited  Have you ever gotten into "Into the Woods"? O wow! My brother saw it the day she got hurt-if i had been there i would have freaked out so i am so glad i wasnt! I waited an hour out of the WICKEd stage door but didnt get idinas( I got Joeys though) But then I went backstage at her concert which was pretty AMAZING! Im going to see Les Miz (for the 8th time ;D ) and im so happy cuz im seeing it AFTER daphne (I saw her in RENT10 and i realized i did NOT wanna see her again) and LEA!!!! I LOVE LEA! I met her in this private talk wiht her with like 20 people there in SF! Amazing! Hehe i LOVE this. I finally found someone to share this love for musicals with me! haha |

Your brother saw it the day she fell? That's NUTS! Yeah, we waited for like an hour before she finally came out. Joey Mc touched my pen and used it to sign autographs and then gave it back to me and I protected that pen afterwards like it was a golden friggin' ticket. It IS wonderful to have a fellow theatre dork on here with me!
And I am SO jealous that you met Lea. So. Jealous. When are you coming out to NY to see it? I want to see "Chicago" again (I've seen it twice, once with Bebe) because Bebe's back as Roxie; I know it's not going to be the same though so I don't know if I reaalllly want to. P.S. I met her after "Fosse" and she looks MUCH older in person haha.

Yep he did see her. Pretty insane.
Lea was so sweet. Just the best with a beautiful voice! Haha i think just about every actor/actress looks older in person!
Oh god i am such a theatre geek! I actually went to the Tonys which was the most amazing thing...uh...EVER?! haha it was pretty cool!

Me and some friends made the "Phonies" where we gave aluminum foil statues to some local bands. It was pretty sick.
