there's no real rules about karma. you probably shouldn't exalt people for no reason, but it's kinda like a birthday present. you haven't done anything, other than becoming a year older, but you deserve a reward for all the good things you've done over the years.

I realized that there needed to be a thread where Noobs can get some karma (because they're noobs) So lets ban together help out some noobs. (incuding me, I'm a noob too)Well, once you post more and meet more people, you'll get exalted a ton. That's what I learned.  Well, anyway, here's your first karma point. Actually, pogs, it more depends on whether you annoy people or get on their good side. I remember losing like 15 karma in one hour cause of that fiasco on that thread about whether this place is getting better or worse. So really, it just depends on what you say more than how much you post. See, pogs is cheery, and he gives us great info about crazy stuff every morning, so he gets a crapload of karma. Me, I tend to run my mouth at inopertune times, so I lose karma. Anyway, I'll start hitting you noobs up for karma; I can remember when I was a noob . . . a long time ago. *flashback sequence* lol |
