i agree but we've had arguements over karma before and people will just smite otehrs for a reason or no apparent reason either way it's not going to kill you but if someone keeps yelling at you and says you aren't typing something right or they're just plain out arguing with you
you can smite them but what will that solve? so plz everyone if you have a problme with someone just pm them and talk to them their we don't want fights on the boards

I guess I just don't really get why we have it at all. We just all need to be on the same LOST team...fans who all just dig LOST and don't have to worry about basing our digital self-worth on whether or not someone exalts us or smites us.

I like the whole karma deal. I like to give it out and I still like to receive it. Of course I am sad that some misuse it for some personal agendas. That just reflects on real life I guess. There are always some folks who can turn any pleasure into something jerky. *sighs*

I don't think you should put too much thought into it though. I would never judge a person by its karma - not even if the karma is way in the negatives - just by their behaviour.

I like that I got an instrument to tell someone 'hey .. you're special to me. I just thought of you. Wanted to send you something.' Of course I could just write that out ... but it's nice to send something along that you only got once every hour ... so in a way it's something you don't waste away.

I don't know if you noticed but I always write my karma in a tiny font (except for Jay and Jack). That's not a coincidence. To me it implies that while I really like to make someone happy it's not as important as the stuff I am posting in the usual sized font.
