same . . . I hope they dont do a second season of the Lost expierence. It was too hard for me to follow since Im away all summer and home on the weekend. It was also hard to actually know what was fake and what was from the expierence. lastly if your ganna reveal something really crucial or interesting, reveal it on the show, not the internet.

They explained the numbers on TLE but not on the show. Why is that?

Well going into posting this I thought I was going to be alone in saying I didn't like it, but apparently the cheese doesn't stand alone.
I didn't like it at all, I don't like combing the internet for stuff that really doesn't explain a whole lot about the show. And I agree with kwhit that if they feel the need to explain something, put it on the show. That's why we're watching.

The main thing is that there are some people who do like to comb the internet and look for things, solve puzzles, etc.
They did state that nothing revealed in the experience would be necessary for the show itself, but instead more of supplementary information that was relevant to the show, but along the lines of story lines they were not going to have the bandwidth to address in the show (for story telling reasons I assume). So, if for instance the actual origin of the numbers ends up being important to the viewers of the TV show they will go into it within the show.
So, this all said, there are many who did enjoy it, even if it did falter towards the end. It gave us a large amount of supplementary information we would never have got that was fairly interesting, that we would never have seen if it was only the TV show, and if there is anything important that came out in the experience relevant to the show, I'd assume they will cover it or expand on it in the TV show. From what I understand, nothing "crucial" was revealed in the experience as it is relative to the TV show. The producers took a lot of care to ensure people understood this up front before the summer.
JLSK
PS I still don't think they will do a round two, although I would like to have them do it, so it probably doesn't really matter anyway.

yeah . . . it would be cool if they did something else though. I liked the mobosodes idea. Like I was neve really ecited about the Lost epierence because it revealed stuff that wasn't really neccssary to know and i didnt really care but something that included the charecters in the show (which is a reason why Lost is so popular is because of the charcters) would mkae the break alot more enjoyable even if it didn't 'unviail' all the secrets of Lost.

The only part of the lost experience that I liked, or found remotly interesting was the frgagment thing. DJ Dan had a few Easter eggs (I'm still convinced that "you have to wear a fake beard to get away from these people") means somthing. But, other then that, I could care less.
Whenever somthing exxciting hapnedd, like when Blake was caught by the hansos cientists, somthing unexciing ruined it, like when that guyy captures ehr and jsut ells her he does not work for Hanso.
And just when ti got remotly good, it ended.

I agree with mostly everyone here. While I found it interesting, and enjoyed the Hanso website, I would much rather have those things, such as the meaning of the numbers, revealed on the show. I always just ended up finding out what was going on from listening to Jay and Jack, or searching on LostPedia or whatever, I rarely participated in any of the actual discovery of new items, although I guess that's cool for the people who enjoy that. What I didn't like most about the whole thing was the fact that it was supposed to be present day. That reveals a lot of things about the show, like the Hanso Foundation does actually still exist during and AFTER the end of the series, and they're still up to no good after the end of the series. Maybe DHARMA doesn't exist, or won't exist, but Hanso's still around. That seems weird to me, and I really hope the ending of the series allows for that to make sense without it being depressing. I guess we're just supposed to assume that the story on the island is very Dharma-centric and specific and not so focused on the entirety of the Hanso Foundation. Or maybe, in the end, Dharma really has nothing to do with anything but that would be sad.

normal people: not having any special abilitys at all; plane. BEING NORMAL: no extra cuality, regular: the lady was not odd, she seemed like a REGULAR person.
