Anyone else frustrated with the speed of the new clues?
I wish they just had it all set up and let it all go at once. Instead they have certain parts not unlocked yet so we can only go so far...it stinks.
If you're with me, say oh yeah!!

Its got to last til season 3. If they set it all up at once, it would be over in 1 week

erm.. how about an "oh yeah.. but!" Yeah i do agree the speed of the clues is slow lately. But i dont agree they shove it all there at once and let us have it. Cause then surely it'll be solved in a week (at most and we'll be watching the walls during summer hiatus (not that there's nothing better to do during summer, but u catch my drift). I'm all for a more steady clues. Say 2 clues a week or something. I could even handle 1 a week. But a clue per week should be guaranteed. And they should be hard! really hard.

We're stuck twiddling our thumbs from Thursday (after the episode) until the following Tuesday. Either a. make the clues harder and/or b. give us more clues per week if the clues came in on a regular basis to keep us working, then they wouldn't have to reveal the whole thing at once, but it would keep us continually busy

true that. true that.
I guess they don't want to spend that much effort and time and money in it. Maybe it'll pickup pace once the season's over? dunno. I sure hope so.

effort time and money? theyve made a full length book, taken out ads in tons of papers, and bough commercial air time. I dunno how much more "all out" they could possibly go

Oh absolutely tons of money is being spent... which brings us back to the advertisements in the game.
I will say I was surprised not to have a new clue during last week's Lost. I know the sublymonal.com thing may be new to some, but anyone watching Lost on tv is demographically very likely to already be as up to date as possible on the game. Since the sublymonal.com clue came out several days before then, it seemed like an opportunity missed.
On the other hand, it was a Sprite tie-in, and so Sprite probably wanted a tv commercial for their website to drive more traffic.
I guess that's just a long drawn out way to say... yes, I am impatient too.

Well, I actually think that there are a number of things that are big unknowns right now that may still be discovered, without any additional clues:
1. the webmail.hansofoundation.org login 2. researching the face of the man underneath the hanso picture. 3. working on the log numbers from last weeks episode (may not be related to the game, but interesting anyway) 4. I've heard reports of McIntyre responding to some e-mail sent to him - could be something interesting there... 5. I'm sure there are a few ones still out there not definitively solved - like the last pursephone numbers.
I think as this goes on there will continue to be additional clues with some easy answers and hopefully some harder ones that may take weeks for someone to crack.

Another thing is that perhapse they didn't think that fans would have cracked some of the clues so fast. The ASCII and ROT13 was cracked in less than a day. It's possible that they were expecting that to keep us occupied for awhile.

I would think so, but still... you never know indeed.

Some things we may just not have the right pieces for, like the webmail. (and I agree that it could be something from the webhost themselves, but it would seem like in a game like this, they would disable it unless it was part of the game).
I fear we may never know what the real anagram was for the last Persephone numbers.

Maybe it will pick up on the final episode of the season and get us moving on the right track for the break.
